You can register campers for swim lessons (first come, first served basis).
Field trips will be posted by the end of May, so check back regularly on our Camp Iwannago Add-Ons page for more information on field trips as Camp nears.
Camp IWANNAGO Parent Guardian Agreement
The Camp IWANNAGO Totem you see in the logo above, represents every grade animal guide. Each totem animal represents a character trait that this group will focus on. The team of leaders you see working at camp also have their own animal totem, the Lion. Our Lions work to catch kids in the act of following these character traits. When they catch them, the Lion will write a Critter Card giving your camper half to take home and turning the other half into our Lion in charge of the Critter Crew. These are not easy to get, as good behavior alone does not earn them. The camper must go above and beyond the expectation to demonstrate their character trait (or any other) to earn them. Earning 5 Critter Cards allows your child to become a part of the Critter Crew. Critter Crew members earn some extra privileges at camp. They get to be the students called to help when the staff ask for it, they have special field trips, and extra swim days just to name a few. Each week, all the Critter Cards earned are placed into a drawing for a special prize bag at our Friday Events.

A: We base grade levels off of the grades students are going into in the fall. So, if your camper is going to be in 4th grade in August, they are in 4th grade at Camp Iwannago.
A: Open swimming is twice a week, and the days depend on what grade the campers are in.
A: While at open swimming, our pool staff will evaluate students' competency to swim. If students can demonstrate competent, age-level swimming ability, they do not need to wear life jackets/flotation devices.
A: Swim Lessons are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. There is limited space, so campers must be signed up for these. Lessons are first come, first served, and campers need to be registered at Camp Iwannago every day in each session to get a spot. Students who are not registered for the entire session will be given last priority to accommodate students who are registered and will attend all the swim lesson sessions.
A: We would have them with another staff member or grade group at camp that is as close to their age as possible.
A: This information will be released closer to Camp Iwannago, and will be updated through the grade level newsletters which can be found here.
A: Instructions can be found here. Field trips will be communicated in the weekly newsletters, and posted online at the Camp Iwannago Field Trips page.
A: We separate students into the grade, or general age range, which they will be entering in the fall in order to keep our activities age appropriate and engaging for everyone. The only consistently combined grades are Kindergarten and First Grade. We generally will not mix grade levels except in very rare circumstances.
A: Because we are an active group, campers should bring closed-toed shoes they can run in. When we have walking or hiking field trips, they need to wear something comfortable they can walk safely in, so some field trips may require hiking/running shoes or simply not allow sandals to be worn. This will be on the newsletters and field trip information when you sign your campers up.
A: FACTS requires a valid Credit/Debit Card, or bank account on file when you register. We will create and email an invoice to you each Thursday. This invoice covers the period from the previous Thursday through Wednesday (the day before the invoice is created). All payments are due Saturday. Any delay of three or more days for a payment will result in a $25 late fee. Excessive late fees, lack of payment, or invalid payment methods could result in your camper's exclusion from Camp Iwannago.
A: We will create and email invoices on Thursday for the previous week's (Thursday-Wednesday) care. Payments are due on Saturday. You can refer to the schedule below for reference.
